Dancehall artiste beaten to a pulp by a renter woman

It was recently reported that Less than a month of living in his new apartment, dancehall artiste Unicorn was left battered and bloodied after he and his landlady were involved in an altercation.
Unicorn told THE STAR that he has since had to seek medical attention because of the terrible injuries he sustained.
"Is one piece a commotion gwaan. Dem buss up mi face and mi head. Me rent a place and di landlord tell me say is a quiet and decent place and she nuh want no bag a crowd and noise inna her yard. Mi tell her mi good with that. The first night mi move in is like a big dance she keep inna di yard and mi ask her how she say she nuh want no noise but yet she have man a smoke weed and a make noise. She say a fi her place and she can do anyting she want," Unicorn told THE STAR.
According to the deejay, that is where the problem started. He said the landlady complained to the men in the yard about the conversation they had.
"Di yute dem draw dung pon me and a ask if me have a problem wid dem. One a di yute dem thump me inna mi face and mi thump him back. By time dat happen, she bruk bokkle pon me and mi haffi run guh a station," Unicorn said.

He then decided to move out and the landlady agreed to return his deposit. She later started sending threatening text messages to his phone stating that he owed her $2,000 for light bills.
"When she say me owe her fi light mi tell her fi take the $2,000 out a di deposit and give me the rest. She start tell me bere nastiness bout mi madda and ting and mi get nine days fi vacate the premises. When mi go back there in the night mi realise say she take out mi light bulb and mi did have $3,000 in there and dat missing to, so mi report it to the police station."
When mi report it to the police dem say dem soon come a di house, so I went back there and knock pon her door and ask her why she take out mi bulb. She start cuss say she want her $2,000 fi light and a tell me say mi nah get back no deposit. Den she fling bokkle after me, buss up mi face, and head. Mi nuh live there one month and dis lady cause big disgrace pon me," he said.
The landlady has since been arrested by the police and is awaiting a court date. In the meantime, Unicorn is hoping that his landlady returns his deposit, along with the $3,000 she took out of his apartment, and also withstand the costs of his doctor bills
