Jamaican ace singj Mavado was initial described as a fugitive of justice earlier this week when A warrant has been issued for the arrest of dancehall singjay Mavado following his none appearance in the Corporate Area R-M court on Thursday.
However, according to his attorney, Tamika Harris, a warrant was issued but there’s a “stay” on the execution until his next court date.
Mavado is expected to return to court in June. Vado was expected to appear in court Thursday to answer to charges of assault occasioning bodily harm following a shooting incident which resulted in the death of his friend at Bounty Killa’s party on June 12, 2011.
However, at the last hearing, the parties agreed to mediation.
Music news understands that Mavado and the complainant met outside of court and came to an amicable agreement.
