Shabba Ranks Disses Vybz Kartel?

Shabba Ranks
Shabba Ranks has a brand new song out..its called "Nun a Dem" and it was produced by Steven Di Genius McGregor on the same pepper riddim that Mavado has his tune that also seem to be quite subliminal. This tune is said to be dissing Vybz Kartel in some way shape or form. In the new track Shabba refers to those who took his style and to those who is not showing any respect to the dancehall elders.
We now await an official response from the Kartel camp as to what is their take on the matter.. as well as a direct word from Shabba as to whether this is collaborative effort between himself and Steven Di Genius to make another attempt to crush the bleacher once and for all.... we wait.

  1. Shabba used to a very talented dj and was highly respected. But he is trying to get back but on a wrong foot by letting Stephen use him due to his current downfall as the best producer.Everybody has their time to shine. He who falls needs to stand up ,dust urself and move on .I have listened to Kartel's dance Hero its not disrespectful to the elders he is just trying to address the issue of the counteractions of his songs by other djs and the way some djs always comment on him as a person. This is what we call in simple English as gossip and its very unhealthy for men to be in this situation. One thing for sure there is no crushing or getting ride of Kartel until he personally stop singing coz his fan base is worldwide and also they shd stop hyping on him.Everybody is waiting for what he now has to say which will an advantage to him(Kartel)coz if he doesnt respond will be bad image for Shabba. An advice to all just stop this and get down to making good music for us guys to listen to not which dj has done or said what where.STOP THE BADMIND BUSINESS

  3. Only snoops get offended by what others are doing especially about themselves. Why didnt he speak out when Beenieman called himself the Dancehall King .what will happen when one will call himself the dancehall god.Still have mad luv for Shabba for his 'ol skool'jams but alot has changed since his era.Hope he will catch up soon and teach the new era what dancehall is all about without taking sides coz all need to learn alot from his era.

  8. shabba song went number one on all Jamaican charts, Kartels counteraction was uncharted it was a two day flop. For an artist whose career was sabotage nearly two decades ago this song overshadows kartel to "di max". So stop player-hating. Kartel punched down ninjaman at sting, isn't this disrespect for his elders. He is very disrespectful, calling beenieman and bounty killa dinosaurs. Nothing wrong with the "ranking" showing that a "dinosaur" is still a beast. kartel will not last forever, soon he too will be a dinosaur and then i hope he takes his own advice and "guh si dung".
