According to reports the police wanted to search David Brooks and his entourage..when an altercation developed between them and the police. It is alleged that David to the "nook hand" and boxed the police bwoy. The police then returned fire where one member of the entourage was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He is now battling for life in hospital. David was released on JA$30K bail, Julian his Manager must be growing tired of this raaas bwoy and his entourage... Bounty Killer and Mavado was Wanted By Police

It has been reported that top dancehall artiste Bounty Killer and Mavado were persons of interest wanted by the police. Bounty Killer's birthday celebration was at the Quad Night club yesterday (Sunday)..the "Its A Party"celebration..it seems some tussle developed on the steps of the building. Again it is being reported that a member of Mavado's entourage allegedly slapped a Police man in the face, the police man according to reports was not very amused and busted a couple of caps at the fellow who audacity to do such a thing. One person was reported to have been shot in the stomach and is now in serious condition.
Bounty and Mavado has since turned up at the Half-Way Tree police and made their formal statements about the matter... thus being no longer persons of interest

Elepahant Man should be performing in Zimbabwe by the 24th of June. The "energy god" who was recently in the news on matters relating to the stealing of electricity is expected to give a great performance to help shrug off the bad luck demon.
The Zimbabwean music industry is perhaps growing tired of Jamaican and other foreign acts performing there at the expense of local acts. According to reports Elephant makes up a long list of foreign especially Jamaican acts who have performing in Zimbabwe of the last year. According to reports this is some marketing technique to help boost Zimbabwe's economy. But what has been happening is that the Jamacan and other artise from other countries has been overshadowing ..or more less superseded major Zimbabwean acts. Artiste like Sizzla and Capleton fetches a tidy sum..whilst Zimbabwean artiste such as Winky D is more or less overlooked. In a recent report it was indicated that not one Zimbabean artiest perfoemed at the recent Zarfest Concert...

Nicky Minaj that Trinidadian/American rapper that we love so much will be gracing the stage of Reggae Sumfest this year. According to reports Minaj will be looking to give her best perfomance for the festival which is scheduled to get going by July 21 and finishes up on the 23rd at the regular Catherine Hall venue. Also down to perform are the likes of Jah Cure, I-Octane etc., but no word yet on whether Gyptian is going to be there... it would be nice to see him and Nicki performe that hit song "Hold Yuh"...
